Per dire l’ora
When the big hand is on the 12, we say it’s o clock
Quando la lancetta grande è sul 12, diciamo un ora precisa
When the big hand is on the 3, we say it’s quarter past
Quando la lancetta grande è sul 3 diciamo e un quarto
When the big hand is on the 6, we say it’s half past
Quando la lancetta grande è sul 6 diciamo e mezza
When the big hand is on the 9, we say it’s quarter to
Quando la lancetta è sul 9 diciamo meno un quarto
But other times we count the minutes in 5
